    modding questions

    I wanted to ask you guys how to do a coupl of things and if you had a guide on them. I want to sleeve my PSU.Here's what I want to use Also I want to get these for my vid card: BGA Ramsinks But I'm a noob when it comes to modding so I'm afraid to do these things. Does somebody hae a guide for this stuff? Thanks!

    For the ramsinks, you'll need some Arctic Alumina Epoxy.

    Make sure the bottom of the ramsinks are clean and smooth. You may prefer to lap them, although this shouldn't be necessary in most cases.

    Don't use too much of the epoxy. Even if some squeezes out, just wipe it up. The beauty of using Alumina is that it is electrically non-conductive.

    Do this with the card out of the case and give it time to set. Personally, I give it a day or so.

    Have you been through the "How-To Sticky" at the top of the page? TAZ has put in alot of time posting that one. It's a shame to not use it! I linked the psu sleeving guide to you anyways. Check out the rest of the guides, there's some great info in there.

    Just know that you need a lot of patience when it comes to sleeving a psu. It's a pain to do.

    Thanks for the help and relplies guys. I think the RAM sinks will be pretty easy. I hope I can do my PSU! Thanks guys!
