ahh...that exlains it ! ti4600 isnt a directX 9.0 card. You're missing out on some sweet eye candy !
Better sell it before it becomes worthless , and get yourself a 9600 XT !

Bah, I just bought my Ti4600 from a friend for $100CAN to replace my GF2 GTS.

    I only have a P3 1Ghz, 512mb ram, monster machine.

your rig should handle a new vid card, i think - as long as your power supply is good.

    soupnazi...

Funny.... I just read your sig. I used to work for Bose back in the early 80's. Never liked any of their stuff except 1 version of the 501's. Of course, being overseas, the cost was under 200.00 USD, making them a better deal. I totally agree with your data, assumptions and thoughts in general. Especially like the web posting. Great job!

what i HATE about farcry is the shadows or whatever on the rocks. They're like half black and half normal and all messed up looking, otherwise the graphics are decent. Is there a fix for the rocks?

I seem to remember that someone mentioned that ansiotropic filtering did that, try turning it off and see what happens.
