I think it would help if you listed what chipsets the boards are using.

Actually you'll probably have more luck if you are willing to split up the cpu and mobo's. Either way good luck wish you'd have put these up about 3 weeks ago.

I thought dual channel was a feature of the motherboard not the ram... in other words I don't know the answer to your question. I don't know about motherboard compatibility either but I know the memory works in both the motherboards I am selling.

Here is a link to the ram at newegg.com:

Dual Channel is a function of the motherboard and not the memory

99.99% of all memory can run in DCDDR at rated speed... Some might require a little extra vmem...

Nope.. My set of XMS PC3500 are not.. I dont even think they made a matching set of my XMS PC3500...

The reason they match (outside of a price scheme) is because they made sure that both sticks worth together at stock...

My 4x 512MB PC3500 were all bought at different times...

Some with the original white label, others with the newer silver label.. They all work great!

    Cool tbird

I thought you needed matching ram for dual channel or it wont post?
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

sometimes i really have concerns about you. the matching sticks thing is mostly just advertsing hype and worth a few extra $$$ for the dual pack in most cases.

with all the posts you have and all the reading you supposedly do.........this is just another example of 'be a bit more careful' of what you post, some newb may be reading your post and believe what you say.

i have only bought one 'dual channel' pack in the last two years, all the rest have been single sticks that i paired together, purchased at different times (but the same exact ramski), all of the stuffs work just fine and dandy in dual channel.

    sometimes............

I am gettin too old for all this st.ff!

    Specs? it runs.................

You bash RAM and DC left and right...and you don't even know what it is?
