    WTB AMD Processor and mobtherboard.

Looking for an AMD combo to put together as a cheap gaming system to replace my aging Abit KT7 RAID and tbird 800...

Maybe a XP1600-XP1900 would do fine.
    PM or post here.

    Also need either a cheap/generic 512 or 256 PC2700 DDR stick.

I have an 8RGA+ (on-board ethernet might be dead, doesn't receive packets)
with an unlocked AXP2k+ (can run at 1.72GHz max, AXP2100+ speed)
    and 2 sticks of 256MB Kingmax DDR333 TBGA 5ns

the above can do 166MHz FSB with 10 Multiplier no problem.

throwing in a coolermaster cooler (alumin with 60mm fan)

the mobo has built in video (Geforce4MX as touted by nVidia)
the mobo is also modded (a stock aluminum cooler from another board on the NB and a Zalman NB32J on the southbridge, I can change the aluminum cooler with another NB32J, AS5 under each sink)
The mosfets also have heatsinks on them, so does the PLL chip that is near them.

200USD + shipping for the entire combo
    Activation? What activation?

still looking? I have an ASUS a7n8x deluxe, amd 2100+, and 256mb stick o' ram. I was thinking around $170 shipped. I could throw in the stock heatsink for free or a Tt volcano 11 w/ Tt duct mod for $20. see my thread here for the hsf info. Best of luck on your find.
