Post Building my dream system... advice needed

ok.. i am building my dream system for college.. unfortunately i do have a budget... here is what i have so far... tell me if u think i should make any revisions...

*i already have a case, CD-ROM, floppy, keyboard/mouse, lan card, montor etc...
and the prices i listed include shipping.. if u can find me a better deal somewhere plz tell me.

    -Epox 8K7A DDR mobo/AMD 1.2ghz tbird combo from bzboyz.com ($280)

    -256MB (i might buy another stick later) PC2100 DDR from crucial.com ($68)

    -IBM deskstar 40mb 7200rpm HD from newegg.com ($122)

-Any Geforce2 GTS (pro???) for around $100.. can ne1 reccomend a place to buy it.. any specific make?

thats basically the rig i have in mind.. my budget is around $600.. so if ne1 has any reccomendations to give me.. plz tell! I am hoping to acheive a steady 100+fps in Counterstrike at 1027x768.

    thanks in advance!

Sound card - you didn't mention, so guessing you need one, if you don't need all the razzle dazzle features of the er Game Theater XP or SB Live! Platinum, then get the Philips Acoustic Edge, for US$62 + US$5 for shipping at
    http://www.sr-systems.com/SoundSound_Cards.html

Your IBM HD u didn;t mention whether its the 60GXP model or the 75GXP....DO NOT GET THE 75GXP HD, and I am sure MANY ppl will agree...it is loud and just sux...make SURE its the 60GXP model.
    http://www.store-builder.com/jazztechnology/P_123.htm
Price here is US$108 + US$14 or more for shipping.

I don't know what else is incl. in the *etc. etc* part so that's all I am putting down rite now.

My suggestion is look into getting everything at one site (I personally usually use Mwave.com) some of the components ma be more expensive but you will save on shipping. Another advantage of that is only having to deal with 1 company rather than 4 or 5. Just calculate it out and find which way is cheaper.

    thanks...
i dont need a sound card.. cuz the epox supposedly has sound built in and thats all i really need.. i only use my headhpones so i i dont need high fidelity sound.

And y is the 1.133ghz more expensive than the 1.2?? is it better overclockable??? like the AXIA vs AVIA thing?

As far as heat sink goes... what do u think abou the Aplha sink/fan from 2cooltek.com?

    thanks again!

no, get a good case.. i'd get the Enlight 7237 from Newegg when you order it. A microatx will be WAY too cramped. If you have room, get a good case. Who knows, you may need it in the future.

They charge taxes on nearly half the states (most of the major ones) so that boost up the price. This is for Crucial RAM, so check whether you live in the taxed or non-taxed state.
Do not get Kingston Ram, iun a shoout out for DDR RAm, Mushkin and Crucial were the leaders, and as Mushkin is way 2 expensive, get Crucial
