    Laptop BackPack

I was wondering if there was a laptop backpack you guys can suggest for my new Inspiron 8600. I was looking at the JanSport PC Port. I would like to put all my books, notebooks, etc. and my laptop along with the accessories and lug only that one bag around campus. Also do you think that this pack has enough protection for my laptop?

That would be fine, some other choices include the Jansport Optimizer, Targus line, or if you go higher up you can look at SpireUSA (www.spireusa.com) and their offerings.

If all else fails, make your own neoprene sleeve

Ebags.com has a decent selection of laptop backpacks

I got one from there for my 600m. They don't have it up on their site anymore, but they have plenty of other bags to choose from.

My recommendation is just don't get a Targus bag, they are HUGE, i ordered one off thinkgeek.com awhile back, it was like the Targus Deluxe Sport laptop backpack, it was so big but yet you couldn't fit anything in it because as soon as you open one compartment is has like 2 more inside of it. The whole bag is just flaps and zippers and velco everywhere, I hated it.

i just bought the Jansport Hard Drive

    http://www.ebags.com/jansport/hard_d...?modelid=14085

i had problems finding a backpack cause my laptop is an ultra portable (12" LCD, 1" thick) and all the laptop backpacks ive seen were designed for 15" LCD 2" thick laptops... the Hard Drive is perfect for smaller laptops

Well I just ordered the JanSport PC Port Pack that I was talking about in the first post. I paid $90 shipped for it and it should be here by 8/20.
