    hi guys,
    i was wondering if anyone could install the detonator drivers and the via 4 in 1's for win xp.. i'm having problems with the via drivers.
    the detonators...well, i'm not risking it right now...

    If you watch during the install I believe there is some type of VIA drivers already in XP. With my setup the only drivers that Ive installed were the new SB 5.1 and the XP detonators and Im running smooth as ice with no problems at all. Everything was picked up by xp and installed. I added those two drivers to improve performance.

    thanks for replying dude. the xp detonators don't have the xp cert, so i was wondering how your system is running... how's the performance increase...

    The 4.33 version of the 4 in 1 drivers work for windows xp. I recommend going to viahardware.com and getting those. I have the Detonator 4 21.80 (numbers are getting big!) driver on my PC and I haven't noticed any lock ups or anything. I'm running Windows XP coorporate edition.

    My 3dmark went up about five hundred points. They do well for benchmarking. Havent noticed much else though. I would say theyre definetly better.
