Uable to save JPEGS off of a web page

A recent thing started happening on my XP Pro workstation. Whenever I try to save a JPEG from a web page, I rught click and select Save As. Instead of having the file name in the box, it has untitled and the only save as format I get is BMP. Has anyone else seen this and do you know how to resolve it?

Clear your cache and restart your browser. That happens when your cache is full. MS has some knowledge base article about it.

Sometimes with certain sites, if I browse without any scripting stuff on, I can save images that otherwise don't allow images to be saved. Sometimes I have to resort to using Paint Shop Pro screen capture stuff. But script protected images may not be the issue. Sounds like the dudes above got it figured for ya. Still, I thought I'd add this tidbit just for informational purposes.

BTW, you can configure IE under the ADVANCED tab to clear the Temporary Internet Files out each time you exit the browser. That may be worth doing, if for no other reason than to keep things neat and tidy.

Thanks guys, that worked. In all the years I have had a PC, I never had this problem before.
