    Well i tryed that, im pretty sure its the AGP slot because my GeForce3 worked in my other computer. But if it is the AGP slot then why does the fan spin on it when its plugged in and the computers turned on?

    Because the fan will work as long as the card is hooked up to a power supply. Doesn't matter if the card is running or not.

    Hey does anyone know how i would find out the maximums of my motherboard, i have a crappy compact (450 Mhz Pentiun 3) i would like too know how much it can handle 750 P3?
    know of anything i can try on windows or on a site somwhere its a series 5686
