    Small Form Factor - Parts

Does it ever bug anyone else that there are very few companies that sell small form factor parts, or even include small form factor brakets. Hell, finding something as simple as a USB or Firewire card is impossible.

Does anyone know of a reliable store that specializes, or brands that are more willing to include multiple brakets?

Nope, because small factor parts do not perform as well, do not cool as well

What do you mean by Small Form Factor?

All Small Form Factor cases, like those made by Shuttle, support standard PCI and AGP cards.

I am not aware of any PCs that require cards of special dimensions.

    Half height cards.

They do make them, and some PCI cards even come with both brakets. For example there is a card that comes with both brakets.

So people make them, I am just wondering if there is a store that speicalizes. I would really like to get a few USB2 cards for smaller PCs but it has been a complete pain.

Don't know if there is a retail store specializing in half height cards, but is this the sort of thing you're looking for?
AVLAB Technology Inc has some low profile cards. SIIG Inc's online store has a variety of low-profile cards, including a Low Profile USB 2.0 pci card. You might also try pricewatch.com, and search for 'low-profile card' to see what comes up.

Also Matrox Graphics has a decent low-profile graphics card
{edit}that matrox card is 2d for industrial use
