    If you have a deal on harman kardon, then take it. The clarity is simply amazing. They have lower wattage ratings, but it's high current power, meaning it will be enough for anything you give it. I love the sound. Onkyo and Denons are also nice but I prefer HK. GL.

    And I just saw your price range. So your best bet would definitely be HK imho. The make some of the best entry level receivers. Look into the HK AVR235.
