KOTOR 2: The Missing Content (LONG post)

Have you beat the game and were disappointed with the ending? Obsidian Entertainment probably was too:

    http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=29764

Long story short: there's about another full hour of recorded dialogue and plot hidden on the PC version of the game (including the audio for some really interesting end cutscenes). Either Obsidian ran out of development time or Lucasarts had them cut the content (to make it easier to develop KOTOR3, or because the endings were too grim).

Since the thread's 24 pages long(!!!), I'll give you the condensed version in the next few posts.

bahh...this is what happens without Bioware's superb quality control.

I blame obsidian for not taking a cue from their parent company and I blame Lucas Arts for rushing development in order to get it out for the Dec holiday.

I guess I'm back to waiting for NWN2.

God, no wonder. There were half a dozen holes in the story that would have been filled with this stuff. Thanks tu2

Watch out...it's the soon to be announced Expansion pack. Pay 30 bucks not for software, but for a code that unlocks features of the game you already have.

well they only had about 1 year to make the game...I wouldn't really blame them...I would blame whoever wanted to rush it
    Lian Li PC-K7B | Intel i5 750 | 4GB A-Data 1600 | Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3R | XFX Radeon 5850 | 2-640GB WD Caviar Blue | X-fi Xtrememusic | Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra | Dell U2311H | Antec Basiq Plus 550W | NEC 3550A | Win7 Ultimate x64

So then technically if I made THE Handmaiden a Jedi, then does that mean we were 'in love' ??

    I hope so

BTW, thank you for the rest of the backstory, it really does fill in some gaps

    HK-47 is greatly funny heh

I liked the game overall but it had NOWHERE near the level of character interaction as the first one. In KOTOR1 I was actually kind of "attached" to Carth and Bastilla (light side). In KOTOR2 it was nothing like the first. Is this because of missing content??

I couldn't care less if most of them died (save Bao-Dur and the droid).
