    Ultra low Voltage 1.4 procs how good are they?

    Hi,

    I tried out some of the old 700mhz and ULV processor and found them not good for my need at all

    these new 1.4 ULV 400 bus, are they fast enough? and how do they compare to the Centrino say 1.6 entry level???

    The only thing that ULV processors are good for is to build the smallest, lighest notebook you can. People who buy ULV notebooks value portability above all else.

    If you care about battery life, performance, gaming, price, then go with a Pentium-M.

    The difference between a Pentium-M and a Celeron-M is that the Celeron-M has half of the L2 cache of a P-M, and handicapped power saving features. You're better off sticking with a Pentium-M.

    You get what you pay for in laptops. Try to save a few bucks here and there, and you'll end up buying a piece of garbage.
