Is it possibel to UNFAT32 a hard drive...so I can compress it?

I want to go back to a format that lets me compress a hard drive so i can get more space from it...I am not looking for performance from the drive cuz I want to use it for storage...

If you're running Windows 2000, you can convert the partition to NTFS and enable file compression.
If you're running Windows 9x, you would have to use third-party software like Partition Commander to convert the partition to FAT. Otherwise, you would have to copy the data off the drive, reformat it using FAT, and then copy the data back onto the drive.
