    HD212 Problem

Over about 6 months, 3 times I've had to open up my HD212s because there is a shaking sound inside the can when there is lots of low bass. I open it up and play around with the wires and completely re-assemble it and then it is fine. This has happened in both the left and right sides. Is anyone else getting this?

The problem may be microscopic hairs. I've had this problem before. Can air works pretty good. But in your case it seems like its just due to the wires.

I would call Sennheiser, I hear they are very generous with their warranty's, and would probably be more than willing to help you out.

I don't see how a warranty will help, it is easily fixable by myself. I'll get a bottle of canned air for next time though, thanks.

What if there aren't any hairs in your drivers? I was trying to cover all bases here...
