    Dell 9300 owners report in

    I am in the process of locating funds to buy a Dell 9300 W/ 6800. I am going to be replacing my two desktops and current laptop with this single laptop Check in with any comments and concerns, thanks.

    What screens do you have and what res do you run in windows as most games?

    No clue what screen. It's 17 inch. I only play WC3, and run that at the highest resolution. It runs just fine, all settings on high.

    wait for that $750 off coupon deal to come around again... i got (2) Dell 9300's for $2200 total... sold them on ebay for $1500 each

    I have a 17" screen (Samsung) at 1920x 1200. I run everything at that res. HD video and games look great.

    I also have one and its awesome. It's like a mobile doom 3 machine. You cant beat the 6800go for a laptop.

    The 6800go Ultra in the XPS Gen 2 is quite a bit faster than the standard 6800 in the 9300.

    Very true but if you got over $2000 to blow on a laptop sure then you cant beat a 6800 ultra.

    I remember reading the regular 6800 could be overclocked to 6800ultra speeds safely.

    Possible but I think you have to worry about heating issues doing that on a laptop.

    It was very nice. Tried not to stare too long because made me jealous

    You gonna get the 1920x1200 screen? I think that is the one I would want to get.
