Red face 31.5dB HeatsinkFan Volcano II seems kinda loud...

31.5dB HeatsinkFan Volcano II Socket A seems kinda loud...

31.5dB seemed better than the other 38dB Coolermaster fans at newegg

    but it seems kinda loud?

I think I would go crazy if I had a delta fan

I guess I am used to my wimpy celeron heatsinkfan that was a little less quieter but cooled horribly..

Is this as quiet (31.5dB?) as heatsink fans get?

Can anyone recommend a much quieter HSF?

That's pretty good for a highspeed fan. Remember, these fans are running between 5000 and 7000 RPM. The quietest fans I know of are Panaflo fans. You can get them at www.pcmods.com
