If I didn't live in an apartment I would be all over that. I guess my 10" free aiwa sub will have to do for now.

Wow, if this deal holds for about another month, I'd be really tempted to spend my Birthday money on this.

that's throws me for a loop. I still want the Dayton 12", but I was almost ready to pull the trigger on the 10" when I heard about the 12". Both are excellent prices...

    I'm torn!

It's probably gonna sit in my room which is only 11x10 for the first year, so 12" in there would be overkill, but it could also possibly be in a 12x18 room if I wanted to go with the lack of a sub for my music...

Plus I really shouldn't spend any money right now, but I need a sub....

Thanks for the post though, that's a GREAT deal for anyone who's looking at getting a sub, you won't find a better 10" for under $300, no joke!

if anybody has reservations about the 10" being *not* powerful enough...cough....let me re assure you. this thing (to my ears) is quite capable of producing far-too-much bass for any situation in a normal sized office room without even turning it up all the way

The 12" version of the same sub is only $38 more..might be worth the extra for someone looking for a little more bass.

I got my 10" dayton when they were still front firing so I don't know how the sound would much differ, but these subs are a super bargain and excellent for games / movies on your computer or the budget HT system.
