Polk R15 bookshelf speakers $50/pair
Just a heads up...

I bought my R50s from them, and they ship same day. FWIW I have 2 pair of R15s, paid $100 a pair for mine and still feel like I got a great deal. Nice little speakers.

Zoom-Zoom!
Excellent deal, plus these are the cherry (red) ones. They're pretty sexy.
Add a cheap amp (maybe sonicT) and you'd have a good inexpensive PC music system.

Wow, i thought I got a good deal when paying $89.99 for a pair of primus 150's.. Two pairs of R15's for $100, awesome! And also they look a lot better in cherry from the pictures. The black R15's are way too bland

Yeah, mine are black and they are a bit bland. Sound nice though. BTW $90 for a pair of Primus 150s is a great deal too....those are nice speakers.
Soup...are you talking about the little class T amp they used to sell at the Target website? IIRC I read a pretty glowing review of that amp awhile back. The trick is you need some pretty efficient speakers to match up with that amp to get the most bang out of it.

Found it...

EDIT...you know you're on to something there Soup. If you've got a good soundcard you could run your front outs to that amp driving a pair of those R15s (or other decent bookshelf) and run the sub out to either a 10" or 12" Dayton sub. If that amp is as nice as the reviews say, that setup would probably be dynamite for 2.1 PC audio, and all for less than $200 (assuming you already have a soundcard) Now, someone just needs to try it out and report back to us.
