Can't renew IP address over wireless

I can use the internet on my linksys 4 port wired/wireless, using this cat 5 connection but for some reason I was surfing and lost connection upstairs on my wireless. I reset the router and cable modem, still nothing wrong with them. I checked the router settings they were all fine. I decided to manually set my IP address and it found the router, however, I can't even ping the router! Let alone use the internet. I get error code 65 while trying to ping. I don't know why it is doing this, anyone have an idea?

    What are the IP settings?
Use ipconfig/all from a cmd window and post the results - IP, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server.

Check the DHCP configuration on your Linksys box.
Make sure that there are enough leases allowed and they are not occupied by your neighbors. (It does happen!) Flush (release) the DHCP leases on the Linksys box and your PCs (ipconfig/flushdns).

Since you said it was working previously, the basic configuration should be OK.

If you have changed any network hardware, the mac addresses wil have also changed. Many cable companies control access based upon mac address. I don't know if that is the case with Rogers Cable or not.
For a manual configuration try -

    IP 192.168.1.200
    Mask 255.255.255.255
    GW 192.168.1.1
    DNS 24.153.22.67

Nevermind, fixed it. I had tried zone alarm a while ago and for some reason it decided to stick around after I thought I uninstalled it. And you know how it ****s with every setting your computer has. I uninstalled it and made sure everything related was gone, put back automatic settings on the network wireless card and BAM, connection established. Thank you for the help though!
