The 25th I believe, same day as CoD II.

Civ IV is a definite MUST BUY for me, and CoD II almost certainly will be too once I hear some feedback from folks around here.

hummm...after civ 4 I will have spent $250 on games in the last 4 weeks...that's more than I've bought all year

Hey, at least you're spending it on games you can actually enjoy, rather than hardware or something you really cant get any enjoyment out of by itself.

Nope, it's for the CD version.

I'm not sure about the ability to do this, but could one go into Circuit City, buy the $50 CD version of Quake IV, get the $10 giftcard, immediately return the CD version, and use the $50 store credit and the $10 gift card to buy the DVD version? I'd be willing to give it a try.

If you plan on using more than one Best Buy Bucks (Mcdonalds Monopoly) forget about it. I went to BB yesterday to get AOE3 and had $16 in BBbucks. The cashier said I could only use 1. I said, "Did you guys change the rules on me? I used 4 of them 2 weeks ago on Dragonshard." She responded, "My manager told me to only accept one on games" I told here I didn't want it and left.

I then proceeded to Circuit City where I was planning on getting the $10 gift card that they were advertising you'd get if you bought the game. I went to the register and the girl rang it up. I mentioned, "I get a gc right". She says "I don't have any, you'll have to go to customer service" (by the way I was the only customer in the store checking out) I walked past 5 employees socializing and looked around the corner at CS. There are 7 people waiting on one employee to help them. I threw the box down on some cart and walked out while noticing the cashier standing there twittling her thumbs. I guess it was to much for her or those 5 employees to help out a customer. I was so angry I went to Funcoland and paid full price.

Well I picked up 3.5 games over the weekend. Act of war, shadow of colossus and rome total war: Barbarian invasion. I also preordered call of duty 2 for pc. I'll be busy for awhile.

I didnt jump on the bandwagon this time meaning indulging in FEAR, Q4, etc.
I havent finished some other single player games yet and I got them the day they got out. Farcry, Doom3, splinter cell:Chaos theory, Brothers in arms, etc.

I dont know why but I just never finish any games. I play 2/3 the way through and another game that just comes out grabs my interest.

Samething happened to me, when the monopoly game first came out I used around $10 best buy buck to get 2 cd's but a few days ago when I tried buying The Godfather on DVD they only let me use one of my BBBucks. What a crock.
