I have always being afraid to fry my CMOS by flashing BIOS. I had AWARD 1.0 version. It took me a year to decide to do it, AND I DID IT!! it took 2 minutes, easy to do and no problems at all. Now I have AWARD 1.7 and a speeder boot. BUT, my soundblaster 5.1 takes forever to load. Is that happening to you too? Can I get rid of the emulator or I need it for windows? Anyway happy new 2002 to all in this pound.
