    Post 40-43 degrees celsius for cpu, this good?

    Title says it all, my cpu runs at 40-43*C, i was wondering if this was good. Its weird because my case runs at about 25-28*C, and not a thing is oc'ed.

    CPU - Athlon Xp 1700
    Video Card - VisionTek Geforce3Ti500
    Maxtor 60 gig D740X HDD
    Lite On - 16x DVD Drive
    Lite On - 24x CDRW Drive
    Memory - 2*256 Crucial PC2100 DDR for total of 512mb
    Santa Cruz Sound Card - Dell
    19' Dell Trinitron Monitor
    Altec Lansing 885 Speakers - Dell
    Logitech Optical Mouse
    Dell keyboard
    Sony Floppy Disk Drive
    Enlight 3237az w/ 340 watt PSU
    Current OS - Win 2k Pro.
    Specs - mobo: Asus m2n-sli deluxe with an Athlon X2 4200. Videocard: 7900gt Ram: 2 gigs

    Depending on your HSF this seems rather decent. A better all copper heatsink with a highspeed fan would drop that temp of course but you're not terribly bad at all.
    Which HSF do you currently have?

    BTW there is a cooling forum where I'm moving this too.
