    What about this notebook?

    I have a nice rig for gaming and such right now but looking for something just to get on the net with, checke mail and write papers. I did a configuration at compaq and it came out pretty good I think.


    What do you guys think?

    Sounds good to me, I would consider getting at least a CD burner if it doesn't cost a whole lot to add. Even for basic stuff I would up the ram a bit, probably aftermarket would be a bit cheaper. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a laptop with a Celeron-M, they aren't bad at all.

    I would also check out Dell's Inspiron B120, awhile back it was $460 for one with 14in, 1.4Ghz Celeron-M, 512mb, WiFI, and CD-RW/DVD

    Best Buy has one right now with about the same configuration
    for $450 after rebate...its a compaq.
