    Upgrading Socket 940

    I'm upgrading my cpu, obviously I have socket 940. Price range is probably 350 tops any suggestions?

    With that budget it looks like the 248 Opteron is the best you can do.

    Id also like to note that newegg has crap for socket 940 so if you go to newegg and set filter to 940 you'll find nothing worth it - _ -
