It's nutz coz it's so pricey! But I can't help thinkin' 'bout it......I think VooDoo has a HTPC which resembles this case as well -

I'm not sure I see the benefit of Windows MCE on a 7" screen?

Hmmm. I originally assumed this was the SilverStone case, the LC18, but it turns out it's not. I'm wondering if this is the pre-production model that some companies got their hands on. The only reason I say that, is because I know Voodoo likes to use Lian-Li's and SilverStones. It seems completely different though. I duhno.

I also noticed thier other cases resemble Ahanix cases. Some are identical, others are slightly modified. Who copied who?

Anyways, I gotta' agree with Soul Assassin. Windows MCE...or really ANYTHING is pretty pointless on a 7" display. You'd have to be so close to it to even read it, what's the point?

I really like the Ahanix cases for HTPCs...but now I'm wondering if who actually makes what. ARG!

Guys, it's workin' ......I'm beginnin' to think it's a stupid idea. 7" touchscreen on the case doesn't really add much, 'cept for aesthetics I guess. I'm gonna give the SilverStone HTPC cases a look. Thanks for knocking some sense into me.......

Actually there is a benefit. When I had a HTPC I never put a montior on it except for initial setup. If all you need to do is setup with it then you don't need a monitor anymore. My trick was to setup and put VNC to it. Then for future configuration I just connected to it that way from my other PC.

This looks like it's only about $300. That doesn't seem too pricey, really considering the touch screen display.
