    Quick Arctic SIlver Question

I put my XP-90C on so that it was overhanging on the memory side, but to have the cold air intake line up with the vent on the case I need to turn it the other way. If I remove it, do I need to do anything to wipe off the Arctic Silver and reapply, just add a little more, or do nothing? The system has not been turned on yet. Hoping for a quick answer. Thanks guys!

You should wipe off and reapply.

Ok, is there anything specific that I should, or should not wipe it off with? And Will I then apply the same amount or a tad less?

Just wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol. Then put a little dab over the core and squish it.

Gee. I'm glad now that I have the opportunity to reapply. I think I had a little too much. They weren't kidding about ONE grain of rice. It really doesn't take much liquid to fill the gap between two polished surfaces. And it DOES squeeze between very nicely!

    Thanks for the help man!

Oh and I think the Alchohol worked a lot better than the wimpy nail polish remover I used.

If anyone wants to monitor my build, still in progress, go to this thread:
