side panels on case rattling
i have an aspire xdreamer 2 case and i think the side panels are rattling. at first i thought it was one of the fans or my maxtor drive but then i removed both side panels and the rattling stopped. drove me crazy finding out where the annoying sound was coming from but now that i know its the side panels what can i do?
i took the both off but i dont want to leave my PC on without the side panels on the case. any suggestions?

Mako Shark
Any wires touching the side panels? In my old Lian-Li case I had an annoying rattling noise that I couldn't pin down, until I realized one of my fan cables was just barely touching the case wall and was vibrating and resonationg through the aluminum.
Other than that the only thing I could think of that would rattle on a case door would be a loose rivet (ones that hold the notches onto the door).

used to have that case. lots of acrlyic, lots of plastic parts that can rub against one another and rattle. a couple of swift kicks to the front panel usually solved my problems but yeah as far as I could ever figure out it was the front/side panels rattling.
