Angry PAVILION 513w PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE!

Does anyone have Pavilion 513w drivers for its onboard sound and onboard video? Or atleast the damn maker and model of each? I know one is AC 97 compliant, and the other is intel but thats it! I have searched everywhere and HP are being stupid and told me it will take a few weeks to get me a new recovery cd.

If anyone has this model could you ZIP them up and email them to me? PLEASE someone help me!

What operating system are you using? I think that particular model came with xp. I just worked on a HP 512w (which came with xp) about a week ago and the guy wanted 98se installed on it. It took me a couple hours to find the drivers but I finally succeeded. If you need drivers for 98 I can help.

If you can't find what you need, try driverguide.com; you'll need to sign up (just gotta give an email address) and they'll send you a username and password.

Found most of my legacy drivers there.

You should be able to find what you need for the onboard GFX here:

When I've had trouble with HP machines I've looked up the specs from their site and then found the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer although I don't know if that still works with newer HP models.

The only drivers that I could locate on the HP site were for windows xp. The drivers above (intel.com) are for which ever version you have. Also, for the sound drivers, try this: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True
