When it's released the engine better not have pop-in.

I hated that in Halo 2. Outside of the massive cop-out in the end.

The pop-in was awful - I'd have much rather had a black two second pause while it loaded everything in rather than it trying to do it all on the fly.

Is there a Shadowrun trailer anywhere, or are you just going by what was in the conference (which I haven't seen yet)? Also, are you thinking it looks blasphemous compared to the old video games, since it's an FPS, or is it more the entire universe (pencil and paper game, setting, etc)?

QFT...not only was it lame but it seemed like any old generic scfi-fantasy feel. There was no cyberpunk/goth goodiness that made the orginal shadowrun so great.

looking back(hindsight being 20/20 and all) i totally agree. i was just so stunned at the graphics(assuming they were not cg) and the fact that it was titled "shadowrun"

Never been a fan of the Halo series. Mediocre FPS in my eyes. But then again I've been spoiled by Half-Life and all of it's amazing mods, the Unreal and Quake series, etc.

There's a trailer up on XBox Live Marketplace right now, thats where I saw it. I'm sure there's one on IGN somewhere.

That's look so incredibly unexciting..how could that get people excited? man the warcraft 3 trailers were 1000 times better than that...terrible! Blizzard>Bungie :-/ Just havn't been the same since Myth2

Its more exciting if you're familiar with the storyline, which is Halo's strongest point.
