Tom's Hardware does a review of several Mini-PC cases/barebones
The part I'm confused about is on the conclusions page.
They reviewed, ASUS, Biostar, MSI, and Shuttle. But on the last page, their summary picture is Biostar, MSI, Shuttle, and Gigabyte?

Interesting read though. The ultra small solutions, like the ASUS, will probably catch on more and more as low thermal output solutions become more prevalent.

I hate Tom's Adware articles, when you have to <next page> go through at least <next page> a dozen pages of pics and <next page> ads just to get through <next page> the actual article.
So what I do is change the *page*.html to "print.html" and the article loads up all on one, nicely readable no-bs page, like it should.
like this: http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/07/...pus/print.html
And now I actually read reviews on Tom's Hardware.

I guess. I don't have a problem clicking next or using the drop down menu though.

oh man that is slick!
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Very nice indeed. I would much rather scroll through a long article than page after page. Good tip.
Just for giggles, I priced out a mini-ITX board, Core Duo 1.83GHz, 2GB DDR2 667, 100GB 7200rpm 2.5" hdd, and slot load DVD-RW slimline drive.
About 1400 bucks to have all the parts to make an extremely compact system. Now to find a case to put it in that is smaller than the commercial solutions.

Random aside,
Now using this technique to peruse the Conroe benchmark article at Tom's.
Definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
Also,
You can do this at Anandtech's as well.
Simply put in:
http://www.anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=2795
Where the article ID number (in this case 2795) is whatever article you wish to view in one long page.

Good looking out, I'll be reading a lot more technical papers in the future I guess.

They should have reviewed other mini pc's instead of just the typical box mini pc's.
I would have been more interested if they reviewed/tested some of the mini pc's from here:
