keyboard and typing problem
hey everyone. how is it going?
i have a problem. i tried out the remote connect feature on xp pro sp2. between my wifes laptop and my desktop just to try it out. both of our computers are hooked up to our router. could that have something to do with it? i dont think it should. but anyway after i connecct, and took control, that program just went away. and now when she types certain letter on her keeyboard have small numbers in the bottom right corner. she cany not type a u because it comes up as 5 and so on. how do you fix this problem? any help would be really great!!! thanks so much.

It sounds like numlock is turned on on the laptop. Try pressing FN + Numlock or Shift + Numlock. (to turn it off)

yeah ummmmmm, NUMLOCK, is turned off.
i still have no clue to what is wrong.

Does it still happen if you reboot/power off the laptop?
