    stuttering and hang

so my computer just recently started locking up during games, i can play for about 5 minuites, but then the the sound stutters and the video stutters horribly then the game just hangs...i know this probably isnt a heat problem because my computer idles at 32c, this mainly happens with half life 2 episode 1, but it has also happened with star wars battefront II, suprisingly it hasnt with bf2, my specs are in the sig
    any advice?
    thanks

Positive it's not heat? Idle at 32c doesn't mean it stays there when playing intense graphic games. But this could be ram, or not enough power, or need for new driver (video). What driver are you using? Have you tested the ram? Have you check for suffient air flow and dust inside on fans and heatsink?
    And what monitor?

Your computer might be a 32C, but how about your video card? Does your computer only crash IN games?

yea pretty sure its not heat, i ran some heavy programs (perfect disk, diskeeper, ad-aware etc) all at the same time there must have been 10 active programs running, i even loaded up a game while the programs where running, heat stayed at 32c, with about 80% cpu usage, i am currently using forceware version 91.31, i did test the ram everything checked out fine. i did, not too long ago, clean all of my fans and cleaned all dust, there is sufficient air flow, although i will be buying another fan today, just in case, and i am using a hp vs17 monitor, yea the computer DOES only crash in games, but if thats what happens..wouldnt it crash in bf2? because i do believe it is more of a graphics intense game than hl2, and any suggestions on a new fan for my 6600 gt?
