The classic cure works again!

I built my first computer a while ago, and since then i've had a few kinks to work out. A few video problems, and a weird problem where i can't boot from a cd if both the dvd and cdrw drives are connected. A few days ago, im taking my computer to a friends house to test the video problem, and i have my tower in the backseat. Going 60, i realize that his street is 20 feet ahead of me, so i slam on the brakes, and CRASH. I begin to freak out! I look in the backseat, and my towers on the floor. Now like an ambulance with an emergency patient, i rush to my friends house to revive the victim. I stop the car open the door, grabbing the victim, i rush to my friends door. With tower in my hand, i get it to my friends house where we plug it up, and everything is fine, and we conclude the problem is with my monitor. *whipes sweat from forehad* So i take the tower to my car, and drive home (going slower this time). I get home and try to plug all my wires in, and the sound card falls out, and the video card nearly does too. Im freaking now. I take apart my system, put everything back in, get BIGGER screws this time, and fire my system up. Everything is fine again, but i have to format my hard drive due to a weird driver error in my Linksys LAN card (thought there was two, complained about not enough resources blah blah blah) So i format, and i put in my windows cd to boot up, and halfway through it i realize that both my cables are in. I take apart my system to make sure, and they were. And on top of that, my Video works perfectly! It's just weird, i mean i tried everything to get the video to work right, and to boot from a cd with both cables in, I guess you just have to hit it sometimes.
