Question ***? No more Ninja Plus?? Help please

Ok,after f@cking around reading tonnes of reviews I order a Sycthe Ninja Plus heatsink off NCIX as I was buying the soundcard cheap & slowly buying the pieces to build my new sys.......It listed as on backorder, I email them asking what the status was and they just said:

"Our supplier just got back to us and it looks like this item has been discontinued and we won't be getting anymore."

    HUH? Was it really discontinued??????

What do I buy now if it was? I'm getting a Conroe e6700 and I want excellent cooling and I'd like it quiet too if possible

    Help please

They have them over at SVC.

Also, there's always Thermalright. All their heatsinks own.

Scythe now has a new cooler like the Ninja called the Infinity.

Maybe the plan is to have the Infinity replace the Scythe?

The Infinity is larger/heavier. I assume that this means more surface area on the heatsink as well.

I plan on getting the Infinity now.

But I've been watching eBay, and the Ninjas are still selling (and if I see one slip through the cracks and go for cheap enough, I may just buy it).

And I'm assuming that "FutureCrap" doesn't carry it?

    LOL!

Its been a while since I've set foot in that store...
