Good FM Radio MP3 Player?
Does anyone know of any good mp3 players that have good reception for the FM radio? I've sold my Creative Zen Micro because the FM radio reception sucked big time. Other than that, it was a good mp3 player.
In addition, I need at least 6gb of free space for my music. Not looking to spend more than $180.
I would have bought a refurbished 30gb Ipod for $180, but I really want FM radio with good reception.

I think you're going to be disappointed big-time. I've had three MP3/FM Radios and none of them gave me the reception I needed for the rural area I live in. I ended up going with a portable satellite radio unit, which I'm really pleased with.

Agreed. It's just a feature that they add on paper. The antenna on there is just not good enough.
I had a Intel Pocket Concert and a Rio Sport ... both had radio, but I could never get any station.
As far as satellite radio units go, the only one that I could think of is the Sirius S50. Can't beat satellite radio.

Indeed. I also have a creative zen micro and the FM reception is so bad that I don't even bother trying to listen to it. I'd like to see an mp3 player come out w/ an AM version so I could listen to ballgames and talk radio.

sheesh, it's really that bad huh? I'm still going to keep looking though. There has to be some good fm mp3 player with more than 6gb as well

My iriver clix gets great reception on the few radio stations i listen too. Course its not perfect but its the best radio on any mp3 player ive had (yea i had a creative zen micro too).
Big downside is its only 2gb for $150, but I went from 6g to 2g and never really noticed, didnt listen to most of the music anyway and its easy to swap songs in.

Awesome.
I have a Creative MuVo TX FM and the FM reception is terrible. Its still an awesome little 1GB MP3 player though and I got it for only $50.

from experience i can say that iRiver has the best fm receivers in their players. the difference is like night and day when compared to some creative players for example. if anything, get an iRiver, and if you want a specific model, the T10 is a good place to start. for 6GB, check out the E10.
