pio mode to dma in xp....
it wont let me change my primary hd to dma mode from pio mode. i think that is why my system lags so much. i tried putting it at pio mode and selecing ok and then going back in and putting it back in dma but nothing happens. when i go back in it still says pio mode. my secondary hd says dma mode though and im kinda curious as to why it does. its making me mad. ive even tried the dma66 registry edit and it still dosent work and winblows xp still lags alot. any ideas on this one?
