The wireless NIC is too pricey, but I've seen the wireless controllers for $37 and that doesn't seem bad. It's the 21st century, everyone should step up to wireless controllers.

I think it's nice to have one wireless controller, but my extras will probably be wired. Those battery costs add up, even if you just go with cheap AA rechargeables. And I'm not paying for a wired charger that should have been included with the controller.

I don't have any experience with the 360 controllers (because I don't own a 360, ..yet), but I've found that my wireless logitech controllers and Wavebird controllers last months without changing the batteries. Hasn't been enough to make me consider rechargables yet.

People won't be singing that tune when they manage to link WiFi band radiation to some kind of strange, inoperable brain tumor.

Even the Wii isn't that cheap once you add on a couple accessories. There you have to buy not only a remote, but the nunchuck (sp?) and a controller to play GC games unless you already had one. That was the main reason why I got the 360 intsead of waiting on the Wii. It was the same price after rebate as a Wii with the couple add ons. Guess you can't win.

I don't roll on Shabbos!
Why are people saying the wireless adapter is 120? It is 99.
Okay, sell the overpriced 360 and get a PS3 and play... uhm... play... Resistance? That's it?
For me the 360 is a great value, since I don't need Wifi or HD movies. For someone like you that needs all that stuff, maybe you should have priced it out before buying.
I like how MS gave us the option to buy those things, not just shoved em down our throat. I wish they would offer a larger HD for sale though.

Yup, Wii costs when added up:
250 for console
25 for classic controller
30 for component cables
60 for nunchuck + wiimote
50 for 4 gig SD card
=415 just to get me started
360 for me to get started was 400 (actually 275 since I bought it used.)

go buy a PS3 then and stop crying, you don't need wifi or wireless controllers - you think you do cause someone else has it, Mr. Jones will always have more stuff than you and always have better accessories for that stuff...go buy a PS3, throw the 360 in the trash - then come back and whine about how you know someone with a hot pink PS3 shell and you want one too but can't find it.

You could buy a HDTV bigger than the computer monitor, the console, and all the accessories you need and still have money left over to go out and buy a cheeseburger at Burger King.

Ah, global warming will have killed us off before that's a concern.

And oxygen is poisonous, but I wouldn't recommend that you stop breathing.

Still, I'd hardly put oxygen on the same level with a Razr.
I'm not saying that using a cell phone is going to give you cancer, but if you talk on a cell phone for two hours every day, for 20 years, and then you get a brain tumor...well, you shouldn't be able to sue Motorola for $50 million dollars.
