My first post since 11-13-2002........back from the dead

According to the forum software, the last time I logged in was on 11-13-2002. That was more than four years ago.

Practically everyone I knew on this forum is probably gone.... I feel like a cryogenically frozen space traveler.

I have come back from the dead to ask a baazar question....this was my last resort.

....If you can answer this question, you are a video card god/historian....

In April of 2000, Nvidia released a flash teaser on their website for the upcoming Geforce 2 GTS. It was known at that time as the NV15.

The only remnant of that teaser I found on Google is this post:
    http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?t=24084

I am looking for a copy of that teaser. If you can't find that, does anyone know the name of the techno music in the background?

    Go forth and find!

PS - How did Duke Nukem Forever turn out?

I don't think he's kidding. I had been completely out of the computer hardware game for years, I hadn't posted on Sharky's since 2000, back then it was in it's second iteration, I believe this to be the third. At least as far as switching BBS software goes.

When I came back to PC hardware, I wondered how Duke Nukem Forever came out too.

EDIT Post of the beast, 666.

Lol....I remember you guys by your avatars. I figured that in 4 years you guys would change your avatars, but appearently not

Anyway, I was joking about the Duke Nukem thing.... but everything else is not a joke. I really have not been here for four years. My sig is from way back then.

Basically, I left because I got preoccupied with a different forum and activity. The forum was/is Headfi.org. I became really interested in audio and headphones, and spent money on that stuff. I basically stopped playing games completely. I recently bought a Nintendo DS, if that's any consolation.

I didn't intentionally stop playing games and get into audio. It just sort of happened. I found out about Headfi from a guy on this forum. I started out looking for headphones to listen to games with...and before you knew it I just stopped coming here.

I now only use Macs. Spotlight in Mac OSX, BTW, is absolutely awesome.

I'm writing this from a Macbook, with integrated graphics. OH the HORROR!!

I actually played a Doom 1 shareware port on the Macbook the other day. Even using the trackpad, it was still fun. I may go download a Duke Nukem 3D port as well.

(FYI, I am now in college, and I know some guys that do quite a bit of gaming with the Macbook. In fact, I know a group of guys who play World of Warcraft non-stop on their Macbooks. The frame rate ain't high, but they don't notice it. It works pretty well. The Intel GMA950 is better than you think. Alienware actually makes a laptop with it.)

Anyway, I thought of here when I was trying to figure that old Nvidia video...

I too have spent most of the last few years away from Sharky. It's just by chance I should log in tonight and see your thread. I was getting curious about any rumored specs for ATI's DX10 card. I generally only check in every couple weeks. Sometimes months...

I too spent way too much time and money on HeadFi.org. I have no Idea where to find the teaser, or the techno, but I'm sure it would sound good on my new 325i and Headfive.
