    Cingular 8525?

My Treo 650 is starting to show it's age. I looked at the 680 and now the 750, but neither really look like wonderful upgrades. Especially dropping the screen resolution.

So I'm starting to consider a Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes). Does anybody have one of these? How do they compare to the Treo lineup?

If you can wait a little while and have $600 to spend, get the iPhone

Since it's primarily for email, I really need a keyboard -- which looks like the one thing the iPhone doesn't have. Plus, I need something that will work with Good stuff on Cingular, which only certain phones will. (Besides, I'm a bit of an anti-Apple snob )

My friend had a trio before upgrading to this phone he said he likes how the phone works, and enjoys the slide out keyboard, he often uses it to surf the web and email people while at WiFi Spots and said that it runs very smooth for a PDA phone.

So you don't like Cingular's e62 Nokia offer ? I'm planning on getting it this year Cause the e-mail & net are supposed to work great on it.

    Actually, I didn't know about the e62 -- I'll look into it.
