Have the same problem, and even after a refresh it doesn't always work. Usually I have to go back to the forum (e.g. OS) and then back into the topic.

Yeah, I know how that feels all to well...Most of the time I see more posts and click on the link. But when I get there I don't see anything new until I refresh.

I don't have such a problem. Sounds like your browser has an issue, not UBB.

No it is the UBB sir...It does this on more than one computer with IE 5.5! I didn't even setup the other computers with this problem. So It can't be me?

Personally i hate it that sometimes when i hit back to the main page, all the 'new post' lights go out. That really pisses me off. Good thing it doesnt happen too often.

If its the UBB software, then why aren't I having that problem. Browser I typically use is IE 5.0 btw. But I've also used it with NS 4.71, and lynx (forget the version), seems to be fine for all those.

Yep, that's something else I got, not all the time, maybe once every 20 times I visit the forums.

Try going to the library or a friends house and try it. It sounds like the "Check for new version" feature in IE is not set right. Should be set to "Every time you visit site".
