    using visual C++ or c# to manipulate an excel spreadsheet

    hi,

    i need to do this for work.

    does anyone know where i can find something specific to this? google searches have thus far been less than helpful.

    With Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition, you can use Visual Studio Tools for Office. A lot of power there, but not the best documentation - MSDN is kind of hard to navigate if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. But start with "VSTO" or the full thing and Google will start returning stuff hopefully.
