    Cheap upgrade...need AM2 motherboard recommendations!

I'm really tempted to pick up one of those 3600+ x2's on Newegg for 65 bucks...just need a motherboard to stick it in. Is it possible to scavenge 1Gb DDR2 from my current system, or will I need something different? I'd like to o/c it to ~2.8Ghz or so...should be a decent jump from what I have now. Soo - any recommendations?

I've been out of the game for a long time now...any advice is greatly appreciated!

Edit: Perhaps I should've posted in general hardware..

I'm looking at the Biostar TForce 550 to go with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane and 2Gb DDR2-667. Total is around $250...going to run it with my X800XL PCIE. How's that look to you all -- should I get a decent overclock? Any recommendations for a CPU cooler?

My power supply was backordered -- so I'm probably going to need one of those too, then. On the cpu, I'm not sure if I should wait a bit and see how the AMD price cuts turn out...$65 for a 3600+ dual-core seems quite reasonable.

Any other recommendations on RAM? There's some inexpensive Crucial available...if I plan on o/c'ing, will that be alright? I'm trying to get the fastest and cheapest system I can...

I'll be doing some more research on my own..but if anyone has any advice to toss my way, I'd greatly appreciate it
