    Post Dual Booting Win2k

do you have to make two partitions inorder to dual boot say win2k and win9x? And will the file installed under win9x run in win2k?

It's not necessary. I did one partition with Fat32. Installed Win98, then Installed Win2k. Just make sure that Win2k is the last OS that you install.

What do you mean by "file installed?" Are you reffering to installed programs? If so, you will need to install the program in each OS. Although there are some programs that will not run on Wink2k.

If you want to be able to use NTFS you do need a different partition however.
