My understanding is that since Remedy (the development house that did the first two Max Payne games) has dissolved, there may never be another...

this is a pretty old comment about mafia 2, but it says to expect it anytime in 2006-2007 so, i guess just wait a little longer...

Awesome.
Remedy is currently working on Alan Wake, let them finish that before thinking about Max Payne 3

I thought Remedy folded and the founder moved on to new development house.

wake might be ok, sounds too much like that johnny depp movie 'secret window' being turned into a game.
mp 1 and 2 were so engrossing, I don't know why but it got me hooked into the game.....same with mafia, I get bored very quickly with run and shoot FPS's, there has to be a story - a good one or I turn it off.

I dug Mafia. That game had charisma.
No One Lives Forever had a ton of chrisma, too. Games like that make me want to run out and buy more. But, then you end up playing some dumb crap that gets repetive after the first "mission". Give me some stlye.
