Thats the beauty of credit cards. Everyone should use them while online because if you dispute charges then you dont pay. Quite simple unlike a debit acc.

What isn't getting hacked nowadays!? Seems like nothing is safe anymore. I agree with the above statement - hooray for physical copies!

Yeah, I just read about that....some BS. The hacker makes no qualms about sharing the info he's gathered, either; he's holding it all for ransom.
    F*cker.

Has anyone been to the Steam forums yet to see if they've addressed this? I read the "Hacker's" post and apparently the Steam admins would delete any new posts about the subject.

    EDIT:
I just hit the Steam forums:
    http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=554698
http://steamreview.org/posts/cafecardsstolen/ - in case the above one gets closed by a mod.

As you may by now have heard, “Steam” was broken into a week and a half ago and “consumer” credit card details stolen. As the quote marks suggest the breach has been played up by those behind it, whose exaggerations have been somewhat naively passed on by a number of big sites today. In actuality:
That's not what the 'hacker' wrote though, and frankly, I hope Valve doesn't call his bluff...

Yeah, like I mentioned in my edit that's what Valve is fessing up to, but the hacker claims otherwise - who do you believe in this situation? Sure the hacker is obviously not a very scrupulous person and could be lying about the info he has, but then again, Valve is closing down most threads that are being started on the topic (I saw two close this morning that I posted on), and they didn't say a word about it on their 'News' page.
I just wonder why they're being so quiet about it. If I were a 'cafe' owner, I'd be P*ssed that Valve isn't being forthright on the situation.

Hell, I'm p*ssed anyway about it - their systems have been breached and they have had sensitive, private data stolen and they are taking a very 'Ho-Hum' attitude about it.
