    Here's what we got....

    Location of Purchase: Private

    CPU Speed (rated): AMD X2 4400+ 2.2Ghz (11x200)

    CPU Speed (O/C): 2809 MHZ

    FSB Speed (rated): 200

    FSB Speed (O/C): 255

    Multiplier (if applicable): x11

    CPU stepping/Date Code: JH-E6

    Current VCore: 1.45

    Memory Bus Speed: 255

    Memory Speed/Brand: OCZ PC3200EL 2x512MB (OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K)

    Size of Modules: 512

    Number of Installed Modules: 2

    Current VDIMM: 2.85v

    Memory Timings: 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 5

    Motherboard Model/Manufacturer: ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe

    Motherboard Chipset: nVidia nForce4

This is my first time trying to OC this chip, and it seems to be a going well. Using Zalmon cooling... maybe with better cooling I could go higher but for now this is it. Anymore and th temps get too high and I don't like that. Will goto 2.68GHz with everything stock accept FSB, not too bad IMHO.

Does anyone here have an AMD chip above 3.2GHz?

With Prime95, cpu temp topped at 61 degrees but stable the whole day inside a LianLi case. On bench, cpu barely reaches 40 degrees with same test, Prime95 blend option, room temp at 25.4 degrees.

I was running an FX-57 under phase at 3.35 GHz for quite a while.

If that is 24/7, you dare say it. ;0)

I've got some 3.5 GHz screenies from mine, but I couldn't get it stable up there for much else beyond screen shots.

I was folding with it, but only when I was in the room. Somehow I just never really trusted it not to blow up or something.

    Sweet....brute and EXTREME! phase WoW.

2.7GHz is the most I can squeeze out of the 3600x2 (rated 1.8Ghz) without sacrificing mem bandwidth and latency. Can probably take it to 3+ with 5-5-5-15 timings with a little more memory/cpu overvolting and case cooling but figured I'll wait for fx-62 price to go down and take that baby to it's limits. Right now, IMHo my mobo and memory will be ready for it when it comes.

Yeah, move the hammer far away. You may be tempted to smash you computer if it doesn't comply, and we don't want that happening

    I can't resist. I pumped-in 1.55volts to the cpu...heck, if I lose, it will only cost me $59 bucks!

It worked and now clocking at 3Ghz, with no b/w penalties. And surprisingly, cpu temp just went a degree or two higher, 34 at idle and about 40~42 degrees full load with Prime95 for 30 min. New stats below:

So what kind of cooling do you use to push it that hard?

I admit that I don't push my chip very hard.

215 X 13 = 2.8 - anything higher becomes unstable. I'm using air cooling, large CPU fan and sink, and the case has 7 fans independant of the power supply.

It's got a chiller on it. I did a a little work on the chiller and it will heat the house now.
