    Will this work together?

    can someone tell me if all of this is compatible with each other. ive looked and from what i can tell it is. also if anyone has any suggestions on changing or getting different things that would help me out to. im triyng to keep it under 1000$ and right now im at 1052 with Vista Premium. here are my parts. please let me know if it is good and what you think..

    Seems like it is all compatible. I would say, drop the sound card and change the CPU to a E6420 or even an E6320. That should save you enough to get an 8800 gts and 2 x 1gb of RAM.

    that is one thing i wasnt sure about.. so what your saying is that i dont need a sound card really

    As for sound card, it really depends on what you want it for... casual stuff, the onboard sound should be able to handle... if you want more fidelity, then you look elsewhere.
