The Witcher, Looks crazy
PC Western RPG it looks like. I don't know too much about it right now, but I caught a glimpse of some of the screen shot and thought they looked nuts. I've been waiting for a good scarey experience. Maybe this will provide it. Comes out late september for PC.
Not the greatest graphics, but it looks like it could be a dark action RPG experience. I don't think there are been any games like that yet.

Actually It doesn't look mucho scary to me at all. Kinda cute to be honest. I preferred the Legacy of Kain series when it came to such an art direction.
It looks excellent nevertheless.  I'm definitely picking this one up if the reviews come out nice.

This HDR and bloom **** is getting out of control. It doesn't make things look more realistic, it just makes them look more retard. Not all surfaces in life are shiny and reflective. Most are dull and boring. In all these games people wear like high-polished leather/spandex jeans. What the hell is up with that?

I've been semi following thjis game and it seems to be shaping up to a good game...this is built off the nvn1 engine which looks pretty sweet to be honest...I'm personally looking forward to this

This game has been under development for a few years already. The IP isn't completely new, its based on the nwn1 engine but with a graphical overhaul.

The game is actually based on a series of polish books.
Witchers are sterile mutants with supernatural abilities, who receive special training and preparation. During their training they are also taught to suppress their feelings, which leads many people to believe that they have no emotions. Geralt, the central character in Sapkowski's stories, is said in the stories to be one of the best witchers.

Of course, "IP" doesn't really have anything to do with the engine the game runs on...
