Im using photoshop CS3 to edit a photo. It's for a game called Arma and to edit a face it requires a template. From there you can create the type of camo you want. I have hardly any photoshop experience so I'll need dummy instructions. It will take me awhile to reply back to this thread because the software is at work on a test machine and I have to "secretly" edit this photo.
Here is a sample of the templates already edited.

As you can see someone had already edited the images and you get a feel for the template.
I've been editing a photo already and it is taking me forever since I am learning from scratch. Here is what I want to do:
I have edited the right side of the face and would like to know how to flip the design on the other side of the face and apply it using the exact same dimensions, color schemes, etc. I just want to flip the right side on to the left side without it being distorted. I do not want to manually do it.
Also, without changing the color and painting over it, how do I change the brightness of a color at specific spots to create a shadowing effect i.e around the eyes. Is there a brush/tool that allows me to brighten/darken areas without having to go to a canvas and pick a color. "brighten on the fly"?
Thanks in advance.
Edit* This just popped into my head. I plan on editing more photos using a side by side comparison and would like to know if it is possible to using "photo A" click on a specific spot and have photoshop recognize that color and then apply it to another photo?
I basically want to copy the color from the source and paste that same color to the photo that is being edited. Thanks.
Edit#2 Hehe. How do you make a perfect circle/line? I have been hand drawing everything and I was looking at the eyes and my dell mouse/hand is not a good combo.
